QUBOID
Plate CSequence

Eight weeks, drawn to scale.

Four phases, overlapping where overlapping saves time. Every phase ends in a decision you make — which is also the point at which you could walk away with something usable in hand.

The whole schedule on one sheet.

Typical timings for a first release. Larger platforms repeat the build and run phases in stages, so the shape holds even when the sheet gets longer.

  • Fixed duration
  • Ongoing, month to month
Phase 01Week 1

Discover

We sit with the people who will use the thing and map how the work happens today, including the parts nobody wrote down.

Exit gate

You approve the scope note and the fixed quote. Nothing is built before you do.

What we need from you

  • Two hours with the people who do the work today
  • Access to the current system, however messy
  • One decision-maker who can say yes

What lands in your hands

  • Scope note
  • Success measures
  • Fixed quote
Phase 02Weeks 1–2

Design

Flows first, then screens. You click a prototype and change your mind while changing your mind is still cheap.

Exit gate

You sign off the prototype. Layout changes after this point are re-quoted, not absorbed quietly.

What we need from you

  • Click the prototype and tell us where it feels wrong
  • Logo, brand colours and photography if you have them
  • Names for things, in your team's own words

What lands in your hands

  • Prototype
  • Design system
  • Content plan
Phase 03Weeks 2–5

Build

Weekly builds on a real URL. You watch it come together instead of waiting for a reveal at the end.

Exit gate

You accept the release on staging, then we schedule the launch date together.

What we need from you

  • Fifteen minutes a week on the staging link
  • Real content and real data to load in
  • Payment, email and domain accounts in your name

What lands in your hands

  • Weekly releases
  • Test coverage
  • Staging URL
Phase 04Ongoing

Run

We launch, watch the numbers, and keep shipping. Monitoring and updates are part of the deal, not an upsell.

Exit gate

Rolling. Included for the first year, and you can end it with a month's notice.

What we need from you

  • Half an hour a month on the report
  • Tell us what your customers keep asking for

What lands in your hands

  • Monitoring
  • Monthly report
  • Roadmap

What happens when the scope moves.

It usually does, and that is fine. What is not fine is finding out at the invoice. Anything outside the signed scope becomes a change note: what it is, what it costs, what it moves. You approve it before we start, or we park it for later.

Tell us what you’re building.

One call, thirty minutes, no deck. We will tell you what we would do first, what it would cost, and whether you need us at all.
